Need Insurance? - Get Informed First

If you need insurance, then it's wise to be informed. Whatever your insurance requirements, check out my new site that has hundreds of articles on insurance including personal insurance, car insurance, health insurance, home insurance and almost every other type of insurance available.

Here's an extract of the type of information that I've made freely available to the public...

How Do I Lower My Auto Insurance Rates?

Since there are many factors that go into determining your auto insurance rates, there are many chances to lower your rates.

If you change jobs and your drive to work changes or you stop working or you work from home, you should contact your insurance company.

If you have a teen driver and they go to school over 100 miles away without a car then you should be able to get a discount.

If you get married and are in your teens or twenties call your insurance company and see about combining your policies.

Take defensive driving if your state allows it for a discount.

See if increasing your comprehsive and collision deductibles will save you a lot of money. You need to compare what you're saving and how much more you will have to pay if you file a claim. For example, if you go from $500 to a $1000 deductible and it lowers your insurance $50 per 6 months then it saves you $100 a year.

Is Juan Mann the 1st to give Free Hugs?

Absolutely not, and it's interesting to note that no information has been really given out whether it was by censorship or design. But regardless, this post is dedicated to teling everyone about the Real Free Hugs movement.

This above link gives the real story of how Free Hugs actually started in 2001 by Jason Hunter. Here's an extract of it's history...

On May 19, 2001, the love of my life and my best friend finished her course here on Earth - my mother, Josephine Hunter. A day that began in sheer sadness ended in great joy because I realized that my mother had done exactly what God had required of her. She simply let everyone she came in contact with know that they matter. She was truly a friend to everyone, regardless of age, race, or gender.

What an amazing world it would be if we were known as people who have a smile and a kind word for everyone. No matter what our jobs are, perhaps the most important work we can do is to help and encourage others, especially by our actions. With constant threats targeted towards our morale and human spirit, kind and encouraging actions are needed to get us through our everyday situations, no matter how big or small they may be.

FREE HUGS will be the company that will always promote our two most sought after possessions, happiness and our sense of belonging. FREE HUGS will always consist of excellence in the development of leaders, action in the community, and service to customers.

So thank you for supporting FREE HUGS and always remember, we all need one.

Your Friend,

Jason Hunter

Well, there you have it. But does that change anything? No way! However it's become mainstream is relatively irrelevant. The real point is that this movement continues to grow, and quite honestly, it's great to see so many others that have been giving Free Hugs for so many years already in the same bold and public manner of walking the streets with a Free Hugs sign held above their heads. In fact, if holding up a sign is just not your thing, you can buy a Free Hugs TShirt and still spread the love... but if you're going to wear one, I guess you better be ready for total strangers to come up to you with arms spread poised to hug you... but hey, that's not a bad thing at all.

Peace to all and remember to hug someone today, even if it's just yourself.
